In the Kanban view, when you click and hold a deal card, you will notice that you have the ability to drag and drop the deal to any stage on your board.

Skipping stages will prevent the skipped stages tasks, SMS, and emails from populating and sending.

You can move transactions backwards. When you move the deal forward again, the tasks, emails and SMS will repopulate and send accordingly.
