Organizing Deal Page Layouts

Overview

A deal page displays all of the fields for its associated deal type. Users with full permissions on settings can customize which fields and groups appear on deals by default. Deal page layouts can be organized within a deal page (drag and drop) or within field settings (recommended for managing broad changes).

 

Fields: Each deal type in Shaker is comprised of several fields that correspond to that deal type. Shaker offers several default fields out of the box such as List Price, Sale Price, and Closing Date. Default fields cannot be deleted but can be hidden or rearranged.

Users can also create custom fields to capture additional information that is relevant to their business.

Groups: Groups are additional containers to group-related fields for better organization and to help you locate information faster.

Fields can be rearranged within a group, moved to a different group, or pinned to favorites. To move a field, simply hover and click on the dots to drag to your desired location.
 

Groups - To rearrange a section, simply hover over the group name click, and drag that group into the position you want it to live.
 

From the Settings

From field settings, you can manage page layouts across multiple deal types, add new custom fields and even add/remove or rename groups.

To make changes navigate to Settings > Fields

Notes:

  • Removing all fields from a group will make that group hidden on a deal page.

  • Adding fields to "Ungrouped" will hide them from all deal types

  • Deleting a Section with existing fields will move all fields previously in that section to "Ungrouped"
